My son was diagnosed with papalomas of the vocal cords at six months of age. Since then he has had over 80 surguries every 2 to 3 months. He may grow out of this when he reaches puperty. He is now 14 years old my fear is what if he dosent and reaches 18. Can my insurance cancel his coverage? And
if so how will I be able to afford to keep him alive if the disease spreads without the proper treatment? I’m within a few years of this can someone please give me some peace of mind he will be ok. Each surgery can cost 50,000 dollars I would never be able to treat him without insurance. So far he has led a fairly normal life.

I think this is a question you should be asking your insurance company, don’t you?

Sad to say, but yeah they can and do and will. Check out SiCKO if you can. It clears up a lot of insurance ?’s you may have!
But on a high note, they have’nt up till now. So you must be blessed with a Gaurdian Angel. Hope your son gets better and lives to be 127!(at least!)
