Does anyone know a good way to add a primary care doctor to my HMO who is “closed/not accepting new patients”?

I’m trying to add a specific pediatrician as my daughter’s Primary Care Physician, but online it states that she is “closed and not accepting new patients.” Does anyone know a good way to get around this and add the doctor? Begging? Saying you were referred?

Thanks!

Martha

You have to call her nurse and say and do everything you wrote in your in your letter. Tell her exactly why you need her so much. It’s worth a try. Good luck! :)
