How much do you pay for health care?

health care
Adele asked:

I keep hearing millions, billions-level replies to how much Americans pay for health care and just wanted to hear from average US citizens how much they pay each month for health care. Is it $4000 - $5000 annually ($416 or so / month)? Sounds really high but would be understandable why working Americans choose not to pay for their health care via their workplace. Any personal stories about high health care cost?
