Is universal health care really as easy and pleasurable as Michael Moore describes it?

Politically Incorrect asked:

Just finished watching the movie ‘Sicko’ and I was shocked of what I learned, but at the same time I’ve heard that Moore is notorious for twisting up facts to serve his own needs and make his point. I’ve also heard some testimony from Canadians and Brits that universal heath care isn’t always as Moore paints it.

While I love the idea od universal health care, is there a catch to it?

Your thoughts?

You are right; seek and ye shall find! Canadians have to wait months and even years to see a specialist; most of them die waiting. The ones that can afford it go overseas to get the care they need. Here in the U.S., if you don’t have coverage, you’re screwed!
      Nuff said!

For when government decides and so long waits and lines everywhere just wait for your turn so long waits and so usually excellent care will no longer come from the first victim and price fixes healthcare.
