I heard in a lot of debate about illegal immigrants and how they care free services such as health care. I became a U.S citizen two years ago and I’ve been trying to find cheaper and quality health care, but I couldn’t. I researched free health care online, but can’t find it. I don’t have health insurance, so whenever I visit the doctor, I either pay upfront if it’s about $200 or they send me the bills if its way higher. So how are illegal immigrants getting free health care?

That’s what’s being tossed around now. Pass a smaller bill and get it working. Well, you can’t take out the mandate to buy health insurance if you prohibit insurance companies from denying coverage - otherwise no one would have insurance until you needed it. Most of it is so tied up in how to pay for health care, that it is virtually impossible to cut and pass.

So what do you think (whether you agree or not) they’ll try and pass as the health care bill?

Under current constitutional standards, the health care bill is (arguably) unenforceable. Now, if Barrack Obama was a constitutional law professor, he should be well aware of this. Therefore, has it been his plan all along to amend the constitution? Or is the only logical conclusion to this a single payer, government option? Wouldn’t the latter make the “service” a “federally funded” entity and thus not unconstitutional to tax and mandate?
