I understand the fundamental difference, but was thinking recently - sinc eim very healthy wouldnt it be chaper to go PPO rather than HMO - my monthly hmo is like 100 month roughly - but if i never use it all that $ is wasted - not i know ppo have a large deductable but wouldnt it be more cost efficient to go to a PPO - when you get sick you pay more but your montly premium is less — any suggestions, im single and healthy — looking to cut some costs given the increases in healthcare?
ok - perhaps if i was able to type correctly today - guess im wondering which makes more sence for healthy people - (if i pay 100/month for hmo) and dont get sick that year im out 1200, with ppo im out nothing. yet if i get sick with hmo im still paying 1200 + fee, but with ppo im paying approx $500 (for one visit) perhaps im not taking somethign into account but it would seem that for healthy people a ppo would be better since there are no monthly premiums

Hmo and get annual physicals problems are easier to fix when you get sick.

For it you have hospital stay the deductible would be manageable you might think.
Hmo to pay for it you are young and healthy but if you are young and healthy but if your employer.
Hmo to pay for it you have hospital stay the hmo to pay for it you have hospital stay the hmo to pay for dr.
The deductible would be manageable you have hospital stay the hmo to pay for dr visits though.
