So American healthcare system is the WORST in the world ?

110,000 people died last year because our healthcare system is “for-profit” industry. The system is designed to deny care, not provide it. Insurance companies are taking all of the revenue from the healthcare industry, in the form of profit, which should otherwise flow directly to the hospitals and doctors.
How does one reconcile the fact that the richest nation in the world, doesn’t consider basic healthcare a right of it’s citizens….when nearly every other country in the world does… even the poorest of countries beat the US in quality of healthcare ?
If you are against Universal healthcare, you obviously haven’t had any serious illness recently. How can the richest nation on earth allow its citizens to lose their homes, their savings, their retirement, their livelihood….all because they got sick ? Is that not adding insult to injury ?

Canadians have the highest life expectancy in the world and lowest infant mortality rates as well. France is second, but is ranked 1st in quality nonetheless.

It’s called preventative care !…they go see a doctor on average 5 times more per year than Americans. By having more access to doctors you increase the chances that they would diagnose cancer early which gives you infinitely better odds of survival.
