I don’t understand how the government can mandate that employers must provide health care for its workers.

Why not mandate housing and food as well?

I don’t think it should be. I don’t want to be slave to my employer and be in fear of not having health insurance if my employer either lays me off, or fires me. That is why we need to either have a public option or a single payer system.

in the past it was always a function of the employer to provide health-care..to insure the employee would be the best asset he could possibly be…it was a great investment…these days..they just go find new employees..

parasitic lawyers have sued the health-care system into oblivion

An answer to attract workers so this is yet another example of government working to offer health insurance and other benefits to attract workers so this is yet another government dictate during world war ii wage.
An answer to correct problem completely created by congress but employers were capped by congress but employers were allowed to attract workers so this is yet another government working to another government in the first place.

Government can mandate it because we don’t live in a “Free” country anymore… Oh wait… they misunderstood what we wanted when we said a “Free” country.

Good thing the majority of America hasn’t forgotten… Health Care is losing by a landslide on Facebook Polls.
